Tim Evans received
his doctorate from the University of Georgia, and is an approved
supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family
Therapy. He completed an American Psychological Association
internship at the University of Delaware. He has worked in community
corrections and in a narcotics treatment program; developed a family
therapy program for an adolescent psychiatric unit; and has
extensive training in marriage and family therapy. Dr. Evans was a
college professor for over 20 years. He developed the Marriage and
Family Therapy Program at USF. He has taught courses and lectured
internationally. Recently he taught for the Adlerian Institute in
Riga, Latvia. As a college student, he received training and later
was a group trainer with Dr. Carl Rogers and the Center for the
Study of the Person. Dr. Evans is the Executive Director of the
Florida Adlerian Society. Most recently, he has conducted conferences featuring, William Glasser, Robert Whitaker, and Rudy
Ruettiger (movie Rudy). He has been practicing therapy for the past
30 years. Tim is married to Geri Carter and has two children, Tommy
17 years old, and Katie 13 years old. |
